Well...now I can't stand it?! I think it's the flag fabric on the shade that's bugging me? I need your opinion girls!!! What would you do to make this better?
Wish I could offer some help but that is not my cup of tea...I can see things and know what I want to do and copy from others but figure things out myself...nope maybe Elise can suggest something...she is good at that kind of stuff!
I just came over from Rambling Girl's blog to say hello. I actually like your lamp but here is a suggestion for toning it down. You could get some dark blue ribbon and stick it round the bottom and/or the top of the shade. Hope you sort something out for it soon. Best Wishes from England. Lindsay
Oh, Rambling Gal...that's a lot of pressure!! I was wondering if you like burlap or not?? Michael's has burlap ribbon{wide} in the floral department and you could just wrap the shade from top to bottom until its covered. I am thinking about doing something similar to one of mine. If you sew, you could make a little slipcover for it. Hope that helps... Elise
